First WEEKEND Highlights
Best of the Weekend (oldest age groups): Rocketing up the yearly prep lists and utterly dominating were Fall River KS jr Brenda McCollum and St. Edward OH jr Steele Wasik. McCollum strode to a US#2 15:11.04 in the 3k racewalk, winning by almost a minute and a half. Wasik’s US#3 7,037-point total won by more than 1,300 points and included five wins, two seconds, two thirds and a fourth among 28 competitors in the 10 events.
